NORD have completed all consultations associated with this new build apartment block in the historic centre of Perth.
The building is designed as a ‘bookend’ within the streetscape of South Methven Street addressing an open public space to it’s northern edge. The form of the building is derived from local typologies of simple pitched roofed structures with inhabited roof scapes. The proposal is stripped of all detail and a single material is utilised to treat wall and roof surfaces to unify the building and reinforce it’s form.
