ARCHITECTURE IN SCOTLAND 2004 - 2006:
DEFINING PLACE

NORD were commissioned to design the exhibition for Architecture in Scotland with ISO as graphic designers. The exhibition is a biennale review of Scottish architecture reflecting the diversity of building projects in Scotland today.

This is the third in a series of reviews looks specifically at defining "place", highlighting Scotland's most recent and distinct projects and opening up a discourse around ideas of place.

The work shows the creation of each building, documented and presented as commissioned films displayed in a series of monitors. The accompanying Lighthouse publication “Architecture in Scotland 2004-6” was designed by ISO.

Architecture in Scotland was created by The Lighthouse, part of the National Programme of activities informed by the Scottish Executive's Policy on Architecture. The exhibition is designed to tour throughout Scotland during 2006.
